  1. The Ingestre Road Good Neighbour Scheme

    Workers and volunteers support older people in their homes. Clients are encouraged to ask for help and support over any concern. Offers befriending, advocacy, escorting and support on visits to doctors etc; help with practical tasks such as gardening, window cleaning, form filling, etc. Exercise class and a programme of day trips and other activities. Volunteers always needed.


  2. Variety Club Children's Charity

    Brought here by movie moguls from the USA and inaugurated in the UK in 1949 (as The Variety Club of Great Britain), Variety was one of the UK’s first charities to be founded especially for children and young people.


  3. West Hampstead Amenity And Transport

    Community pressure group for West Hampstead, concentrating on transport issues (Red routes, bus services, underground and rail), amenity issues (Post Office, libraries, open spaces and street cleaning) and major development issues (Conservation areas and rail interchange).   4. WinVisible

    Grass-roots multi-racial group for women with disabilities of all ages, situations and backgrounds. Self help information and support, including support by and for refugees and asylum seeking women with disabilities or long term ill health. Also support and information for independent living and against discrimination. Volunteers welcome. Active against homecare charges and rationing, against violence against women with disabilities, for benefit rights and employment rights, asylum and disability, transport and many other issues. Take part in the Global Women's Strike on March 8th, International Women's Day, and solidarity action with women gas survivors in Bhopal, India. Member of the Campaign Against Care Charges in Camden (CACC)
