Impact of Climate Change in Camden, 5th December

A FREE event organised by VAC, NCVO and ClimateUK

Aimed at all organisations with users, members, service users in Camden.

An exciting opportunity for Camden organisations to consider the practical impacts on our organisations of climate change. We aim to gather a mix of frontline and policy staff from small and medium organisations across Camden to work through the implications, facilitated by two climate change experts. The workshop will take place at ORT House in Camden.

Town and Lunch and all refreshments are included.

Participants will:
~ discuss severe weather impacts that are already affecting your organisation
~ hear headline messages about a changing climate with specific focus on health and wellbeing
~ think through what this might mean for your organisation, beneficiaries and service delivery
~ create a plan of action/framework for next steps
~ provide information about where to go for guidance and support

The is an interactive event and will be facilitated by:
Kristen Guida, Chair of Directors of Climate UK, a national network of twelve climate change partnerships and also director of Climate South East.
Dr Kate Lonsdale who has worked on adaptation to a changing climate as a researcher, trainer and facilitator for the last 18 years in both developed and developing countries.
